Happy Wednesday! I am surprised that the whole of last year passed without me wearing this dress. I added the red belt and lipstick to break the monotony of the black color and I am loving the bow too. I look forward to wearing it again soon. And I joined Instagram, show me some love by following.

POP OF RED

Happy Wednesday! I had a nice trip to Nairobi and it also gave me a good break from my everyday activities. Well, today I decided to go back to the basics, black and white. I think these are colours that one can never go wrong with. I added some colour by wearing red shoes.

DOUBLES

Happy Monday! I trust you had a wonderful weekend. Today I decided to pair some doubles, in the double breasted blazer and double slit skirt. I always find this blazer looking better when belted and therefore I added an Obi belt to define the waist line.

We had heavy downpour last evening and also at night, therefore the need for rain boots which of course gave way to shoes when I arrived at my place of work. It was also quite chilly and a jacket was added to this outfit which I removed later in the mid morning. And I like how the scarf added oomph to the outfit.
A friend commented that I am always in spectacles in all my photos, well I caved in to a request of a shot without the glasses on. I must say I could barely see the photographer lol :)

RED+GREY+BLUE

Happy Wednesday! I realized that it has been awhile since I wore this shirt. I decided to pair it with the grey trouser which by the way has subtle blue and brown stripes. I added a pop of color by wearing the red shoes and belt. The cold months tend to be dull and I therefore almost always add a pop of color to brighten my day.

Happy Easter Monday! I hope you are enjoying the long weekend. Still cloudy and rainy but I will still try to take outfit photos for the blog. The focus on this outfit was the browns and I was surprised that color brown can go well with grey too. I threw in the cropped denim jacket to keep the morning chill at bay.

MATCHY

Happy Wednesday and April! The rains are pounding hard and it is only week two and we might have this rainy weather for the next 2 months.

Well, to beat the rains and mud, I bought these rain boots from Bata. I wish I could get them in a color like red or even green . Apparently they only do black and I think it is time Bata did some gumboots with women and fashion in mind. I feel that they are just too plain.

I am surprised that I have never paired this dress top with this denim. I found the subtle pink match in both apparels exciting.I of course had other pairs of shoes to wear once I reach my place of work and added a jacket to the outfit to keep warm.
