OFF DAY

Whenever I stay at home for a restful day you are likely to find me dressed as such. And shorts make most of my evening wear too at the fireplace catching up on the days activities with Mom and Dad. Looks boring but after a day of makeup and dress ups it's always a well deserved lazy treat.

Hallo! Really a black and white day. Still enjoying the sunshine. It is an early morning as Mom and I had to give Dad a ride to the Easy Coach offices to catch a bus for Nairobi. Well, a snap break is always welcome.

SHY

Took the picture in Siaya Town. I'm rather shy taking pictures in public and therefore the lack of poses.

The weather this day is forgiving and I therefore went with the high collar. This dress is sewn from a thrift material from the local market. And have I mentioned my legs? Apparently I feel like I've so much fallen in love with them in these pictures.

GRUNGY

Made a trip to Nairobi hence my absence.
Had a great time with my girls as it coincided with our monthly meetings. The outfit for today is to beat the January sunshine. Temperatures have been at a high of 300 C. I liked the scruffy background.

HAPPY

Well, the sunshine is out with a vengeance. I wanted an outfit that was bright to cheer me up. We all sometimes just have those low days. Yes, it is hot but the blouse and scarf are feather weight and therefore I felt comfortable.

I am right now so into scarves and I cannot wait for a milder weather.

SISTER ACT

Hmmmm! Today I introduce you to my sister Bella. She is a nurse by profession and a good story teller. An easy going girl and fun to have as a sister. She made a request to be in today's post. Most of the pictures taken here are of the attire she adorned for an interview.

Very smart if you ask me and worth a mention.

VOLUNTEER

I know it has been awhile, well I volunteered to help my Dad in his bookshop business for one week. Being school opening week, it has been a busy time in the bookshop business. Always waking up early and sleeping late. Too little time left to even scribble a post.
I now hope to be more consistent now that I am through with the volunteer work.
This is a late outfit post. I wore the outfit when I travelled to Embu with my girls to visit with and accompany one of the girls to her home. She had come back to the country after having been in Ethiopia for a year. Welcome back Edith, thanks too for the tour to your home.

GOAT EATING

So long, I have been up and down and trying to settle down at home. Oh and on the graduation party (check previous post) I made it for the late evening party. Great moment it was shared with a friend close to my heart. CONGRATULATIONS buddy!
Well I traveled home earlier in December for a goat eating party my Dad had organized
at home. And I went for the black dress, easy to style and with just a belt I was done and chic!
