KHAKI, STRIPES

Happy Monday! I trust you had a great weekend. Spent mine doing some ironing and just having an easy time at home. This skirt is turning to be a favourite. Be prepared to see it a lot in the blog.

SCENIC BARINGO

Happy Wednesday!Today is the second anniversary of running this blog. The journey has been exciting and I have met some awesome people in this blogging world. Blogging has made me to be more conscious when shopping. I am now keen on the number of pairing I can get from a single outfit, shopping my closet, remixing and matching to make the best of what I have.

The break was also great and I spent some time at Baringo Entrepreneurship & Expo Summit. Being an entrepreneur and a budding farmer, I take time to visit trade fairs, expos and shows to learn from my fellow experienced entrepreneurs and also from upcoming entrants.

I also took time to explore the scenic Baringo County.

DENIM ON DENIM

Happy Wednesday! Rainy weather is still on. The rains are mostly pouring in the evening and we have a little bit of sun in the morning. This gives room for light layering. I must say I loved the outcome of this simple denim on denim look and the vintage headscarf was just to break the monotony of blue.

FLOWERS

Happy Monday! We had a heavy downpour last night and I had gumboots at some point with this outfit. Definitely layered by adding two jackets and a scarf. Felt that would be too much weight on me for just taking photos.

SUITED UP!

Happy Wednesday! I suited up. Black is such a powerful color. Other than heels, I find suits to be confidence boosters. Of course I love color and bright accessories with the striped top made the outfit serious but exciting.

MAGENTA + BLACK

Happy November and Monday! Well, this is my last summer post. We are currently experiencing heavy downpours and posts of warmer outfits will be coming up. Perhaps time to pull out a suit from my wardrobe. I sometimes suit up just to remind myself of my past corporate work.

Loving my afro and the graying, of course aging gracefully.
