EASY!

Happy Monday! I trust you had a great weekend. Well, another easy outfit today. Really liked how the combo came out well. Our summer is officially here and with high temperatures, light materials, dresses, mini skirts and shorts are out of the closet. Linking with DC in style, and Molly at still being molly.

SIMPLICITY

Happy Friday! Well, sometimes we just want things toned down with not a lot of thought going into what we shall wear for the day. This outfit defines randoms picks that ended up blending well. And my ever faithful short makes another appearance. Enjoy your weekend.

VINTAGE MATERNITY WEAR

Happy Wednesday! This dress was passed down to me by Mom over ten years ago, yes, you read that right. It has been around since the 1980s. I remember seeing her in it in her pregnancies. I took time to google the label Top Lady U.K, unfortunately I could not find any leads

Just to clear things, I am not expectant. The dress is a size 16, with a belt to cinch the waist, it is good to wear. I intend to keep it until my turn comes to rock it as a pregnant woman. And who knows? Even my daughter might get to wear it, that's ambitious of course!

I bought the statement necklace from sheinside, when I checked it online, I thought my eyes saw it as color red. The delivery is orange and I can't complain because with the summer here, it goes well with a number of my brightly colored outfits. Expect to see a lot of it.

Happy Monday! I trust you had a lovely weekend. Spent much of mine doing cleaning and ironing and a little time at the farm. Well just thought of sharing with you how I wear my long scarves. Before I started blogging I was very clueless on how to incorporate a scarf to an outfit, it was the usual wrap as a shawl to keep warm. I think I have made great progress. How do you style your scarves? Linking with Patti at not dead yet style and Lauren of fizzandfrosting for Mix it Mondays

SUNFLOWER

Happy Friday! I hope you have had a good week. Extremes of sunshine and rains. Always calls for a jacket, jumper or sweater in the bag just in case the rains fall. Meanwhile, my summer tops are out.

This outfit was built around the top with sunflower patterns, Instead of going gray or lime all the way, I added black to ground the outfit.

Wishing you a great weekend.

ANDROGYNOUS

Happy Wednesday! The weather is finally cool enough for me to pull off this outfit. Loved this outfit and even went a head to get my recent passport size photograph, who said you can't smile in your passport photograph? Yeah, rocking my white hair, looking forward to an all grey look.

The combo of official and denim in this outfit makes it transition easily from office to work, loosen the necktie a bit and roll up the sleeves and there we have an evening look. Was rainy outside and therefore I used the little room in my place of work to get only these two shots, a repeat of this outfit for better shots is a definite. I wore the outfit with pumps to make it more feminine, but oxfords would do for a full androgynous look.

ONE SKIRT MANY WAYS

Happy Monday! Recycling is always in my mind whenever I am buying an outfit. I love living light and therefore having quality instead of quantity is my way of managing my closet. And that also applies to gifts, I won't just accept a gift for the sake of it, especially clothes. Taking it and not wearing it is more offensive than a polite no in rejecting a gift. Well that's me.

The above featured skirt was a gift from Mom, I loved the color and the fact that I can play around also with its length. It is a sure keeper. What do you consider when purchasing an outfit? Linking at fizzandfrosting for Mix it Mondays.
