PLAID + VINTAGE BLUE SKIRT

Happy Monday! I have worn this top before and I have always paired it with colors that are in the plaid patters. Today I decided to pair it with an off color and I am happy with the outcome.

VINTAGE + OBI BELT

Happy Friday! Finally the weekend is here. I think I have finally got a way of wearing this skirt. It looks better when I tuck in the top worn with it. I added an Obi belt to accentuate the waist an I continue to love the popped up collar.

Enjoy the weekend and happy valentine's day.

MORE SEQUINS

Happy Monday! Hoping you had a restful weekend. With the temperatures at all time highs, I grab every chance to bring out any wearable summer item in my closet. Of late there have been a lot of bare backs if you have been keen.
Loving this weather and I need to shop for more shorts. The only downside for me with this kind of weather is that I am not a fan of sandals and open shoes. This is because my feet dry so much and even crack. For the time being, closed shoes will just be fine and sandals once in a while.

This outfit was built around the sequined vest. I therefore went for silver jewelry and grey to keep it more neutral. And the vintage skirt gets another wear.

VINTAGE MATERNITY WEAR

Happy Wednesday! This dress was passed down to me by Mom over ten years ago, yes, you read that right. It has been around since the 1980s. I remember seeing her in it in her pregnancies. I took time to google the label Top Lady U.K, unfortunately I could not find any leads

Just to clear things, I am not expectant. The dress is a size 16, with a belt to cinch the waist, it is good to wear. I intend to keep it until my turn comes to rock it as a pregnant woman. And who knows? Even my daughter might get to wear it, that's ambitious of course!

I bought the statement necklace from sheinside, when I checked it online, I thought my eyes saw it as color red. The delivery is orange and I can't complain because with the summer here, it goes well with a number of my brightly colored outfits. Expect to see a lot of it.

MINT GREEN VINTAGE

Happy Thursday folks. This vintage dress is a gift from Mom. Always great choices from her. I had to google it. The label reads Lazarus of London, I discovered it belongs to the 1980s.I love the double breast buttons. Decided to pair it with silver jewelery built around the silver on the buttons and I added silver wedges. Since I love color, a red belt to finish off the outfit.  I look forward to wearing the dress under a skirt and see how the look comes out.

VINTAGE

Happy Friday. I managed to get some shots today. This vintage look is what I thought of last night. As for the socks my Mom was not amused. She claimed that I am rocking a grandmother look yet am still young. She did not know that that was my point. Going back to the 1940s. I hope to be more consistent with posts starting next week. Enjoy your weekend folks.
