Earring gift from a former colleague

                          

I hope you are well. My photographer (read Dad) is so committed to taking these blog photos daily I never really have a reason not to dress up. He noticed these blooming flowers and insisted that this had to be the location for photo shoot. I did not make it to work on Monday, I was unwell and he kept wishing that those flowers will hold up for Tuesday, today. Well an answered prayer for him.

The top am having was a scoop at the thrift market, Ksh. 20.00. How fair can a bargain be? I like the faux collar detail.

Had issues arranging the photos today and my internet connectivity is not helping either today.

KHAKI

I have worn this skirt severally and every time I pair it with a different top the more I am loving it. I've realized it goes well with cool neutral colors.

This khaki blouse is a gift from Dad from his KCB Biashara Club membership. Am loving how fitting it is and therefore even the branding of KCB does not bother me.

Todays outfit was a last minute modification. Especially the addition of the khaki skirt. I have always wanted to wear this dress top as a dress. I leave that for the weekend or maybe an evening outing.

REPEAT OFFENDER

Happy International Women's Day! I have worn this very outfit before (HERE). The only new thing is the jacket and handbag. I also tried to play with the dress top by folding in the extra length. Another way to rock  the dress top. It was a bit chilly in the morning and as always reason enough to add a scarf.

SNAKE

I had bought the skirt am wearing earlier on and when I saw the snake scarf at the Kapsabet thrift market, I had a light bulb moment and therefore did not even need to think twice about buying it. Of course it was a bargain. I was to travel to Kisumu later on in the day and being a humid town the white cotton blouse was appropriate.

NUDE

I have had this patterned skirt of black and nude for a while now. Thinking of making it a mini now to recycle it and give it an edge. What do you think? The temperatures are still high and therefore a lace top is light enough. Loving the gold details on the blouse. This is a scarf week, another one to add color to my handbag. Ladies just a quick question. Do you find yourself using the same bag for a whole week especially a universal color like black? I do, like this bag, if you are keen I have had it in all my pictures whole of this week. Changing bags mid week is not my thing.

DAD'S BEST

Dad has been unwell since last Friday. He is now recovering well. This outfit happens to be one of his best worn by me. I have worn this outfit before and to cheer him up and bring a smile to his face I decided to put it on. Only if it will help, it does of course! I love the mix of black and white and denim and ooh the scarf , the green adds more color to the outfit.
